Product Description
The Irwin Power-Grip 7-Piece Bit Set is a durable collection that works with many power tools including cordless drills, impact drivers, and nut runners. The power grip set helps remove rounded off, painted over, damaged, and rusted over nuts and bolts. The bit set also features a black oxide finish with white markings which prevents rust and easy-to-read markings. Additionally, the bits themselves have reverse spiral flutes which are designed to bite down, and are also made of shear-resistant, high-carbon, steel shank. Other features include a 1/4-inch hex shank, universal lobular design to fit all types of fasteners, and maximum gripping power on both metric and SAE.

Irwin "Power Grip" Set

I saw a set like this at a local motorcycle shop and watched the mechanic extract a broken screw from a very difficult location. I own several screw extractors of varying design that I've had limited success with over the years but I was so impressed with the Irwin Power-Grip set I knew I had to have one because I am a serious do-it-yourselfer. I was quite surprised that the cost for such a reasonable tool was quite reasonable.

Bought this for my Daughter for christmas, we ended up opening it a day early as she was replacing stair treads and there were a few screws that had been stripped out. When she oponed it she got all excited and tried it our and it worked like a charm. Had to go to Amazon as the local Home Depot and Lowe's did not carry this type of tool attachment. Company was quick on delivery and if I need anything else like this I guess the place to find it is Amazon. The price was very good. Would buy another set or similiar if I had anyone else that would use it besides my Daughter.

This item is just what I needed to get some rusted bolts out. Because I live around the salt water,I have these bolts rust a lot and necessary to remove them and insert new ones. This tools really is a life saver to remove them
