nice power cord,

bought these and the two wire cord, to replace some cords on the dewalt sanders other tools I have.the plugs are quality and solid, the cord is good,

I decided to try this a replacement for the circular saw cord on my Milwaukee 7 1/4". It was well shielded and the covering is definitely tough, but it is very stiff and inflexible compared to the standard power tool cord. I'm not yet sure whether I like that or not. I know that the very flexible cords that come on the tools and which sell specifically as power tool replacement cords are much more flexible, but I also often find them a pain when working because that flexibility allows them to hang up on all sorts of things, even the sheet of plywood I'm working on at the moment for instance. They fall into the cut and hang up, hook up on saw horse legs, etc. This cord seems much less likely to do that, but it certainly feels peculiar dragging behind the saw. As time goes on, I'll let you know how it works out. It is a good quality product, however, with well shielded wires and a thick and very tough outer coating. If it doesn't crack over time, it will certainly prove durable.I would highly recommend it for things like drill stands, table saws, or other stationary powered items since it seems like it'll take considerably more foot traffic across it than the standard power cord.I gave it five stars because it did not advertise itself as a 'very flexible' cord, and it does everything else it was designed for quite well and seems to be a decent quality construct.

I don't "love" this item (that's just silly), but I can say that it is of solid construction. The wire ends are nicely tinned, and the plug is plenty sturdy. I expect to get many years of additional service from the light table I repaired with this new cord. This is actually something I thought I'd find in a local RadioShack, but did not. I'm pleased to have found a fine replacement part via Amazon.
