STOCKING/TOOLBOX STUFFER

It's worth the asking price and the batteries last a long time. I read mixed reviews and decided to take a chance. It now lives in my tool box that I use at work. It's by no means what you might consider an industrial engraver but it sure is handy.No longer do I bring a new tool to work and not have the capability to personalize it. To keep the button from being inadvertently held down while lying amongst my other tools I cut the bubble out, holding it to the card, placed it in that and wrapped some tape around it. to protect the button as well as the tip. I plan to make a protective case using PVC and two end caps.Several of my buddies have also used it to engrave their tools and asked where to get one.The only real issue, I found, is that I have no way to engrave the engraver. Maybe someone else will bring one in and we can engrave each others engravers! Hahaha!

I bought an used this and the product worked completely as advertised. And it was very inexpensive. I posted some comments on a review saying so when I saw a previous bad (a planted review it looks like) review slamming the product.I used on aluminum, steel (stainless) plastic and even glass and it worked fine. I am going out and getting 3 more for friends. The product works great. There is a video posted on Youtube by a magazine (not the company that made it) that showed it working great on a bunch of hard surfaces.It has been a month now and I have used it 20 or so times and the battery is still going strong.I really wish some people who put false reviews online would cut it out and go get a life.General Tools makes good products and always helps me if I call them with an issue.For sixteen bucks and the batteries included this is a heck of a deal.Oh yeah...the design looks a little funny up front but it is actually very comfortable. Someone was thinkingwhen they designed this little tool.
