Great set of tools

This is a small set of carving tools great starter set if you're considering carving wood. They're definetly not made for big projects. But for what they are designed for they do a beautiful job. They come sharp out of the package but for those of us who are a little fussy 2 minutes on a strop & they hone up nicely and cut flawlessly. A terrific set for the price. They do offer a set with 2 more chisels that I regret not spending the little extra for. But even an experienced wood carver I think would appreciate these tools.

Great customer service

I bought this set to do a time based wood project. Shipping came one day early which was a plus. However, the third time I used the product the smallest chisel broke in half. When I asked the seller to send me a replacement for the faulty product I was told it was not common for these tools to easily break and I could only be refunded if I returned the entire tool set. Since I needed these tools for a project this was not going to be feasible.I was extremely upset until the seller called me the next morning to let me know he had spoke wit the people who make the tools and that I would be receiving a new set the next day. I am very pleased with the amount of time he personally took to make this situation right for me. I would recommend this to a friend.

This carving set has exceeded my expectations. The elongated handles are comfortable for long carving sessions, the blades are sharp and durable. I have used them for quite a while and have been happy with them. I haven't figured out a good way to sharpen them, but for this price, I actually bought a new set and have been using them instead. Very satisfied with this product.
