Great value, great quality, universal adaptability

A little over a year ago I bought the TEKTON 2928 14-Piece Power Nut Driver Bit Set. The price was good (a bit less than this set), the overall quality was outstanding (just like this set), but it had one "fatal" flaw. That set didn't have detents to work with power drivers.At the time their product listing didn't clearly identify the omission and from some of the other reviews already posted I noticed other purchasers were caught by surprise. To prevent further misunderstandings I posted a review that included a video which clearly pointed out both the virtues of this sent and the potential problem.This set has those detents which allow the bits to work with both twist lock and speed lock chucks (that covers them all). In addition it has the same high quality look and feel as the previous set.I prefer the orange bit holder over the previous black one. While the holder grips the bits securely it's still not something I'm likely to wear on my belt. Like the previous set, I'll throw in my tool bag and the orange holder makes it easier to spot amid the jumble of other stuff that's in there.What I found at least as impressive as the quality of either set was the response from Tekton. As a result of the product reviews they updated their listing for the original set to clearly highlight the potential shortcoming. Further, based on the feedback provided in my review and others they developed this set which avoids the problem entirely. Finally, despite my having posted a negative review on the original product they offered me this set with no obligation other than I consider posting an honest review. Just as I am honestly saying how I came to own this set I am also saying that for the price I don't think you can beat the value.Please feel free to let Amazon and me know whether this was helpful to you or not, since it helps me improve my reviews.

I recently bought Bosch CLPK27-120 12-Volt 2-Tool Combo Kit, and needed a set of nutsetter bits for some light automotive use.I've looked at offerings from DeWalt and Milwaukee, but they don't seem to make any metric nutsetters. Of course, 10mm and 12mm are the most used bolt sizes on most cars nowadays.I really like these. They are a great companion to my Bosch impact driver and pocket driver, and they're inexpensive. The only downside is that I used them while replacing a kitchen sink, they got wet, and quickly rusted a bit. Not a big deal, I just cleaned them up, and then coated them with silicone lubricant to protect them.

A perfect accessory to my Bosch PS20-2A 12-Volt Max Litheon Pocket Driver! Bits work and feel great and they fit in the red plastic sleeve tightly. Definitely worth the wait.
