A must have toll for anyone doing repeat auto-truck electrical repair

This tool does an absoulute awesome job crimping most any configuarion of electrical connectors. My primary use, is for crimping heat shrink connectors used in heavy truck electrical systems. This tool crimps these connectors to the proper tension and does not damage the outer heat shrink tube. Being from Northern Minnesota where electrical systems are subject to winters variety of deicing chemicals, this is a very important feature that helps maintain the integrity of the heat shrink seal. No regrets on purchasing this tool. Is ratcheting mechanism make crimping with one hand a breeze. Its only draw back is its size making close quarters crimping interesting.

We were replacing a marine stereo, multiple amps, speakers and some new lighting and didn't want to use the old crappy crimpers.The cheap style only pinch and colapse one small area that isn't very strong, looks bad and often fails.Having the multiple options for connectors was very helpful.Some I may never use.. but will have them is needed.This tool is very solid and should last a lifetime of use for me.There are less expensive choices, but this one has most all of the dies you could need.It's not actually pneumatic... it's the same manual tool as all the rest.

This is a great crimper! It worked perfectly on multiple connectors and I felt really good about the crimps. I've used it a handful of times and works great. Can't comment on the longevity, but it feels like a solid, heavy tool.I like how easy it is to interchange the jaws for different crimps. Simple and secure. Storage case is nice, but would be cool if it had a little handle. (not a deal breaker by any means)Highly recommended. Feel confident with this tool and the ability to properly crimp all your small to medium sized connectors!
